THE ROLE OF HIZBUL WATHAN EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES IN IMPROVING STUDENT DISCIPLINE AT SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 10 MASARAN

This study aims to analyze the role of Hizbul Wathan extracurricular activities in shaping students' disciplinary character at SMK Muhammadiyah 10 Masaran. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that Hizbul Wathan activities play a crucial role in instilling discipline values through regulations such as the use of complete attributes, punctuality, and the obligation to participate in all activities. The success of this program is supported by school policies, the active role of mentors, the involvement of teachers and staff, as well as adequate facilities and infrastructure. The exemplary approach taken by teachers and mentors further strengthens students' character development. However, some challenges, such as unpredictable weather conditions and schedule conflicts with other activities, hinder its implementation. Despite these obstacles, Hizbul Wathan activities remain an effective medium for fostering discipline, responsibility, and noble character in students. mengetahui seberapa besar peran ektrakurikuler hizbuul wathan dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa sepertihalnya dalam masalah menaati sebuah peraturan yang sudah ada dan yang sudah di tetapkan.
