ATTENTION: The inscription on the frame (tw. handschr.) “Richard Wagner marries Minna Planer” in 1836 is “false,” since the person depicted is NOT Richard Wagner’s wife, but the singer and soubrette Minna Wagner, born. 25.10.1840, Nordhausen - d. 28.12.1910, Dresden (also Ueberhorst-Wagner, Minna). She was married to the baritone and director Karl Ueberhorst (1823-1899), who was head director at the Hoftheater Dresden from 1881.
