Mangalore is one of the important coast and strategically important city of India. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited wants to set up a petrochemical special economic zone in this area. This papers tries to examine various land acquisition issues faced by the Mangalore SEZ limited, it’s projected impacts on Society, Economy and Environment and it also tries to find out its significance to Mangalore.
