IOT Based Car Parking System

View through CrossRef
At present days as traffic is growing day by day, the problem of parking is also increasing. The unsystematic parking of vehicles in markets, malls, and near public places causes a rush. So with the help of the Internet of Things (IoT), we are able to render this problem and create the best solution for the unsystematic parking of vehicles. The Internet of Things (IoT) in recent years has achieved great popularity due to its ability to connect systems and devices. This paper showcases how the Internet of Things (IoT) is being effectively utilized in the field of car parking systems. Our IoT-based car parking system involves electronic devices interacting over the internet to provide optimal output to users and maintain the parking system. Various devices and sensors, such as Wi-Fi modules, Arduino boards, and Infrared sensors, are utilized to detect available parking spots and guide users to empty spaces. The system is also connected to the cloud database of Blynk Software for providing information on the availability of the parking lot to the users with the help of a web application and an Android application. The IoT-based car parking system has several advantages over traditional parking systems. It eliminates the need for manual intervention in the parking process, reduces the time spent searching for a parking spot, and provides a more secure and reliable parking experience. Additionally, the system provides valuable data to parking operators, which can be used to optimize the usage of parking spaces and improve overall parking management. Overall, the proposed IoT-based car parking system has the potential to revolutionize the way we park our cars and make parking a tension-free experience for users.
