Albrecht Dürer’s tomb at St. Johannis churchyard in Nuremberg

The artist erased a view of Dürer’s grave at the Johannis cemetery in Nuremberg. Above in a text field there is a boasting poem in German and Latin. On the grave is the empty inscription board of Sandrart from 1681 and the record with the coat of arms of the artist in-laws (cf. Mende 1976, Cat. No. 38).
