View through CrossRef
Abstract The Oxford Textbook of Otolaryngology is a comprehensive guide to all aspects of the speciality. The textbook covers all the knowledge that clinicians from all subspecialties of otolaryngology require to keep abreast of current practice, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice. The textbook is divided into sections on otology and audiology, rhinology, head and neck surgery, and paediatrics. These sections are then divided into two broad subsections: the first covering common presenting symptoms and signs, and the second covering specific conditions. The introductory chapters of this textbook aim to provide insight into emerging aspects of medicine that are essential for the day-to-day practice of otolaryngology before moving on to the more specific areas highlighted. This concise and accessible text comprehensively covers the problems and their solutions in paediatric and adult otolaryngology for anyone with an interest in the subject.
