IoT Based Biometric Attendence

View through CrossRef
Human beings are those who actually used to comfortable life style. Whatever the work may be they are used to machines and handwork is stolen from them through these machines. Anyways it’s good to be used to machines because it saves time which is very precious .Coming to the point few such work examples like taking attendance it may be a teacher or class representative .Generally we take attendance using pen and paper and record students attendance percentages, by actually calculating the percentages. So to save the time biometric system came into existence. Biometric sensors are classified into two types such as Physiological Biometrics and Behavioral Biometrics. The physiological Biometrics includes face recognition, fingerprint, Iris recognition, and DNA. Here in attendance system we used fingerprint biometric this is because compared to other biometric it is the most accessible and accurate procedure. Yes we may also use iris biometric but compared to Iris, fingerprint is enough to take attendance. Iris is generally used for spotting loot cases, security check, investigation on sensitive issues, in these cases there is no need of fingerprint Biometric. Fingerprint biometric is used for taking attendance, assurance of person’s identity, cloning cases ,similarly in these cases there is no need of iris biometric. So to store these fingerprints data we need cloud storage .AS we know now- a- days cloud based computing areas are increasing so it is easy to store huge data. so this project contains the FPS which scans the fingerprint of users. If the finger biometric of student gets matched with data records then the student is considered as present. So to store data it requires web connection, that can be accomplished through a Wi-Fi.

Title: IoT Based Biometric Attendence
Description:
Human beings are those who actually used to comfortable life style.
Whatever the work may be they are used to machines and handwork is stolen from them through these machines.
Anyways it’s good to be used to machines because it saves time which is very precious .
Coming to the point few such work examples like taking attendance it may be a teacher or class representative .
Generally we take attendance using pen and paper and record students attendance percentages, by actually calculating the percentages.
So to store these fingerprints data we need cloud storage .
AS we know now- a- days cloud based computing areas are increasing so it is easy to store huge data.
so this project contains the FPS which scans the fingerprint of users.
If the finger biometric of student gets matched with data records then the student is considered as present.
So to store data it requires web connection, that can be accomplished through a Wi-Fi.
