Analisis Peran Organisasi Pramuka dalam Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter Siswa Sekolah Dasar di Upt Sdn 064009

Scout extracurricular activities are one of the educational programs that play an important role in strengthening character education among elementary school students. This study aims to analyze the role of the Scout organization in strengthening students’ character education at UPT SDN 064009. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with interview techniques involving a Scout instructor as the main informant. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Scout activities contribute significantly to the development of students’ discipline, responsibility, independence, self-confidence, leadership, and cooperation skills. Character education is implemented through routine training activities, educational games, Morse code exercises, teamwork activities, and camping programs. The Scout instructor applies the among system, which emphasizes learning through enjoyable and meaningful experiences. Despite challenges such as students’ fluctuating moods and inconsistent attendance, Scout activities continue to provide positive impacts on students’ character development. The school's support further strengthens the implementation of Scout programs. Therefore, the Scout organization serves as an effective medium for strengthening character education among elementary school students.
