Seyyid Ali Sultan is known by the name of Kızıl Deli and his two tekkes. Seyyid Ali Sultan's ocak has maintained its tradition and preserved its existence until today. After the Ottoman State's decision to close down the Bektashi Tekkes in 1826, a new process began for the Bektashi Tekkes and the prohibitions were implemented one by one in the whole tekke. There were two traditions in the tekke, Babagan and Dedegan, and with the ban, the Babagan tradition disappeared completely over time. Therefore, this study does not deal with Babagan Bektashis, that is, Balım Sultan's tradition. After the bans imposed on Seyyid Ali Sultan tekke, some new practices emerged in the functioning of the tekke. Since Seyyid Ali Sultan was a quarry, the dedegan tradition has continued to exist until today. Seyyid Ali Sultan hearth, as a pir hearth affiliated to Hacı Bektaş Veli hearth, is also a murshid hearth together with its affiliated pir hearths. The banned and uncertain years of the Seyyid Ali Sultan lodge reached a new phase with the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and the establishment of more than one new state. The connection of the Seyyid Ali Sultan ocak with the Haci Bektash Veli ocak and the connection of the pir quarries affiliated to the Seyyid Ali Sultan ocak with the ocak itself were severed. In this period, the Seyyid Ali Sultan ocak and its affiliated pir ocak’s started to implement separate erkan. Living in different countries, with new bans and forced displacements, each hearth searched for a solution and implemented the solution they found. Today, although the Seyyid Ali Sultan ocak and its affiliated pir quarries fulfill the same practices, they are affiliated to different ocaks or their efforts to create new practices have caused disorganization within themselves.
