REVITALISASI : SOLUSI PENGUATAN PERAN DAN FUNGSI KELEMBAGAAN BADAN USAHA MILIK DESA SEBAGAI PILAR PEREKONOMIAN DAN PELAYANAN SOSIAL

This study aims to provide an overview and analysis of BUMDesa revitalisation to optimise its role and function as a driver of the village economy and social services independently, professionally, and sustainably. This research used qualitative methods. Data were collected through observation, interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), and document review. The research informants included the Head of Village Community Empowerment of the North Konawe Regency Regional Leadership Council (DPMD), the Sub-district Head, the Village Head, the Village Consultative Body (BPD), and the BUMDesa Chair. Strengthening the role and function of BUMDesa is carried out through BUMDesa revitalisation efforts, including (1) Institutional structure by organising the BUMDesa institutional structure, implementing regulation-based governance and professional organisational culture. (2) Management patterns are carried out through digitalisation of management and development of BUMDesa HR competencies through training, mentoring and continuing education; (3) strengthening legality, carried out so that BUMDesa has a legal entity recognised by the government to guarantee that the business units being developed can be accounted for. and (4) potential utilisation, carried out by developing business units, with stages of analysing business potential and feasibility, preparing business plans, increasing the capacity and professionalism of business managers, building partnerships, monitoring and evaluation and sustainable development.
