Slavery in Tripura: A Historical Overview

However, it </div> <div> appears that the transition from primitive communalism and beginning of private ownership </div> <div> both of which occurred simultaneously at revolutionary moment of historical evolution had </div> <div> much to do with the slave owning system. The slaves of this tiny state of Tripura have </div> <div> been generally isolated socially, deprived economically, oppressed politically and humiliated </div> <div> morally. </div>
