Claims and assertions by Arun Anand [The Print 14 April, 2020] and Rajiv Tuli [The Print 23 April, 2020] to appropriate Ambedkar are in no sense novel and reflect the incessant attempts in distorting historical facts and march towards complete Hinduisation of Babasaheb Ambedkar.<br>This article builds upon the debate on the first article of Arun Anand “Why RSS considers Ambedkar as one of its own icons” countered by Hari Narke in “No, Ambedkar was not impressed by RSS or in an alliance with it. Arun Anand is wrong” to which a rejoinder was written by Rajiv Tuli “Ambedkar appointed RSS man as his election agent. That’s how close the two were” dated 23 April 2020. By relying on original works of Ambedkar and its detailed and impartial reading, this article will highlight the flawed logic in Anand and Tuli’s rejoinder and provide readers a short insight in the nature of this debate in its historical and contemporary context.
