The upper two-thirds of the stomacher is embroidered with a floral design consisting of two units of a modification of the 'rose spray' pattern. There is a narrow embroidered border all round. At the top is a padded bar with strings attached to hang it round the neck. At the bottom is a piece of plain red satin. Gold embroidery on cotton with red satin trim.
