Vase made of mass-colored soda glass, milky-peach color, lighter at the top. Hand-formed glass, with antico elements (air bubbles forced into the glass bubble) and a milky infusion. The vase designed in the 1970s by Ludwik Ferenc and Lucyna Pijaczewska was produced in the Barbara Glassworks, Polanica Zdrój.Height 29 cm The width of the infusion 15 cm Circumference at its widest point 54 cmThe Barbara Glassworks, Polanica Zdrój was established in the mid-1950s by Jan Myczka. Initially, the glassworks belonged to the Polanica-Zdrój Health Resort and produced bottles for mineral water. In 1974 it was taken over by Huta Szkła "Sudety" and operated as the "Barbara" Artistic Glassworks. The artistic director in Glasswork :Barbara” was Zbigniew Horbowy - one of the greatest glass artists in Poland. A design studio was established at the glassworks, which included other outstanding artists: Lucyna Pijaczewska, Ludwik Ferenc, Kazimierz Krawczyk and Czesław Zuber. In 1992, the glassworks was privatized and carried out mainly orders from foreign customers. In 2018, it was closed.
