MUĞAM İFAÇILIĞINDA ZƏNGULƏNİN TƏTBİQİNƏ DAİR

The article provides information on the methods and types of using
zangule, one of the techniques widely used by singers in performing Azerbaijani mugham.
The article focuses on revealing the meaning of zangule as a performing technique and
the impression it conveys. Such types of zangule as jaw, throat, nasal, inherent in different
performing schools of Azerbaijani mugham, require high professionalism from singers-
khanendes. The article also shows the types of use of zangule by various khanendes, such
as Khan Shushinsky and Agahan Abdullayev, using the example of the mugham-dastgah
"Shur".
