Keo Wayu and the Domain of Gera Ga’e

Abstract
Compared to the domain of Lape, which comprises villages occupied by more than ten Defenders, the Pau territories described in the previous chapter may seem small. Yet equally small is the domain of the Ga’e sibling Gera, which at present includes just two extant villages: Keo (or Keo Belo) and Munde. At the same time, lands of Gera form one half of a larger territorial whole designated binomially as Keo Wayu, and more completely as Tana Keo, Watu Wayu (Land of Keo, Stones of Wayu).
