A very large vase colored in the mass for red wine with antico elements (air bubbles pressed into a glass bulb). A vase designed by Stefan Sadowski for the Sudety Glassworks in Szczytna in the 1970's.Red glass is made of oxides of copper, selenium and gold. A professional glass-making workshop was established in 1770 in Batorowo. In 1827, the Szczytno estate was purchased by Major Leopold von Hochberg, who expanded the factory operating here. After 1945, many eminent glass artists like Zbigniew Horbowy and Stefan Sadowski, worked for the Szczytna glassworks. The glassworks was closed in 2014 and then dismantled
