The 19th Siam Physics Congress (Physics Beyond Boundaries: Interdisciplinary insights for a changing world; SPC2024)

The 19th Siam Physics Congress (SPC2024) was successfully held during 5–7 June 2024, co-hosted by the Thai Physics Society, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University, and Nuclear Society of Thailand. To motivate collaborative academic environment, the congress was organized to be an on-site meeting at the Krungsri river hotel, Ayutthaya in Thailand. Moreover, the organizers and hosts of the 19th Siam Physics Congress 2024 are duly honored to receive gracious support from Her Royal Highness (H.R.H.) Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, who will preside over the opening ceremony on June 6, 2024. This year, the Siam Physics Congress, under the theme “Physics Beyond Boundaries: Interdisciplinary Insights for a Changing World.” This reflects the spirit of our era, which necessitates cross-disciplinary collaboration, not merely as an option but as a necessity to respond to the diverse challenges of our rapidly developing world. Physics, the fundamental foundation of all scientific disciplines, also has the ability to transcend the limits of traditional physics and work seamlessly with other disciplines, enhancing knowledge and discoveries that propel humanity forward. Research abstracts were submitted for both oral and poster presentations around 263 abstracts. There were 2 plenary speakers, 26 invited speakers, 118 accepted oral presentations, and 117 accepted poster presentations contributing to all 10 tracks(topics). The scientific program was announced on the SPC2024 website (https:// http://spc2024con.science.kmitl.ac.th/index.php) and also distributed via email to all participants.
