This article analyzes the views of the literary scholar OlimSharafiddinov on the last and greatest epic of Alisher Navoi "Khamsa" "SaddiIskandariy". It is a comparative study of the scholar's views on the semantic-genreand artistic features of this great epic of Hamsa. At the same time, the place of OlimSharafiddinov's views in modern Navoi studies is assessed.
