Relief fragments from the Niuserre’s solar sanctuary: personification of the Sew season: Vogelff( “Seasonal relief”) Every year the migratory birds populated the Nile Arms of the Delta and became prey to the birds, as seen here in the relief. A fishing net is set up in the papyrus thicket, four bird catchers hold the rope. Bait attracts the animals. When the net is filled, the overseer gives the sign for pulling.
