KYRGYZ CHORAL ART AND THE WORK OF CONDUCTOR-CHOIRMASTER GULBARA MAMATOVA

The article examines the development of Kyrgyz choral art through the prism of
creative, pedagogical, scientific and methodological activities of the conductor-choirmaster,
professor, Kyrgyz National Artist Gulbar Mamatov. Special attention is paid to her role as the first
female conductor in the history of Kyrgyz professional choral art and the importance of her work in
the formation of the national choral school. Based on historical, biographical and analytical
approaches, the main stages of G. Mamatova's life and professional career, her conducting and
choirmaster practice, concert and performing activities, as well as her contribution to the development
of musical and pedagogical education are revealed. The article analyzes the author's choral works,
arrangements and arrangements for the choir, as well as scientific works devoted to the problems of
choral performance and methods of working with choral groups. A special place is given to the
consideration of educational and methodological publications by G. Mamatova, including
monographs, textbooks on solfeggio and choral music programs for secondary schools, which played
an important role in the formation and development of choral education in Kyrgyzstan. The
conclusion is made about the significant influence of Gulbara Mamatova's creative, scientific and
pedagogical heritage on the current state of Kyrgyz choral art and the prospects for its further
development.
