Charles Journet i Henri de Lubac. Teologiczne lektury prelekcji paryskich Adama Mickiewicza
View through CrossRef
This article presents the central theses of theological treatises by Charles Journet and Henri de Lubac devoted to Mickiewicz’s lectures on Slavic literature. Journet’s essay Mickiewicz’s Messianism and the fragment of de Lubac’s synthesis La postérité spirituelle de Joachim de Flore serve as testimonies to the ongoing reception of the Paris Lectures within the Francophone discourse on messianism. These interpretations constitute a significant contribution to the debate concerning the ideological and religious dimensions of Mickiewicz’s lectures, particularly in light of scholarly claims asserting a profound incompatibility between Mickiewicz’s views and Catholic doctrine.
