The editor reprints Virgil's fourth eglogue, translated into the Nahuatl of La Huaxteca by Apolonio Martínez y Aguilar of San Luis Potosí in 1910. The text is interesting as an example of the dialect of the area and as a demonstration of the ease with which a translator of our century could handle the fines Virgil composed two thousand years ago.
