<b>Standar Kompetensi Lulusan Pendidikan Ma'had Aly </b> <b>dan Problematika Implementasinya</b>

The implementation of the Ma’had Aly Graduate Competency Standards in practice still faces various challenges. This qualitative study aims to describe the implementation of the Ma’had Aly Graduate Competency Standards and identify various issues in their application. Data were drawn from government regulations and various scientific literature. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Ma’had Aly Graduate Competency Standards is carried out through the integration of pesantren scholarship with a modern higher education approach in a curriculum based on classical Islamic texts (kitab turats) and pesantren-specific learning methods, as well as the strengthening of literacy and academic research. The implementation of the Graduate Competency Standards is still hampered by challenges related to academic standardization, institutional capacity, diploma recognition, and graduate competitiveness, thus requiring the strengthening of quality assurance and institutional capacity. This study emphasizes the importance of strengthening quality assurance and institutional capacity as prerequisites for effective and sustainable Ma’had Aly Graduate Competency Standards
