Además del atractivo por sus buenos platillos, por decisión de su dueño, el chef Roberto Barahona, por muchos años el hoy extinto restaurante La Feria fungió como un espacio cultural clave para el cantón de Turrialba. Fue así como, además de galería de arte popular, propició frecuentes encuentros literarios y recitales de poesía, en los que Marco Aguilar siempre estuvo presente, como lo detalla Barahona en el presente artículo.
