EATURES OF MONITORING OF TECHNOLOGICALLY LOADED AREAS CHANGED BY MILITARY ACTIONS

Coal mining regions of Ukraine are the most technogenically loaded due to the long period of their development. The negative impact on the environment caused by mining operations has significantly worsened due to military actions starting from 2014. Given the significant territory of our state that is affected or has been affected by military actions and where coal mining and, to a lesser extent, oil and gas and peat mining enterprises are concentrated, monitoring of mining and ecological conditions is a relevant research.Criteria for monitoring the impact of military operations within technogenically loaded (mining) regions: generalization of previous geological studies, determination of the mining and geological state before the start of military operations, monitoring of changes in mining and geological conditions within mining concessions (structural, gas-geochemical and hydrogeological), determination of the ecological state of technogenically loaded regions before the start of military operations, monitoring of ecological changes within the mining concessions of mining enterprises, and as a result, establishing destructive changes and forecasting them for the short and medium term. Monitoring to determine destructive changes in technogenically loaded (mining) regions and forecasting their impact on ecological conditions and mining and geological state for the short and medium term will allow determining the optimal development of the coal mining industry in terms of minimal negative impact on the environment.
