PARCELLING IN THE RUSSIAN MEDIA TEXTS (AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF THE CHINESE MEDIA)
View through CrossRef
The article deals with the use of parcelling in the Russian texts in the absence of it in the relevant Chinese texts. The analysis shows that parcelling in the Russian publicistic texts helps to emphasize the importance of information, increase expressiveness and create an unexpected effect. Due to the lack of parcelling in the Chinese language, other stylistic devices are used in most similar Chinese texts to replace it. However, as a result of the impossibility of implementing the complete replacement of parcelling, the Chinese texts are generally less expressive than the Russian ones.
