En Italie, sur les pas de Pierre Puget (1620-1694) avec Jean-Jacques et Marie-Christine Gloton

Dans le cadre des initiatives prises lors du 400ème anniversaire du décès de Pierre Puget (jeudi 2 décembre 1694), le professeur Jean-Jacques Gloton avait conçu un voyage d’études «sur les pas de Pierre Puget» en Italie. L’itinéraire débutait par Livourne, se poursuivait par Massa di Carrara, puis Florence et Rome. Évidemment, une séquence plus importante était consacrée à l’analyse de l’apport conséquent de Puget au prestige du patriciat génois, mais aussi pour élucider un point particulier : localiser la demeure et l’atelier de Pierre Puget en s’appuyant sur le témoignage de Léon Lagrange. C’est cette recherche ainsi que notre quête artistique qui sont évoquées dans ce texte.
