A revalorização da mulher através da Literatura e da música crioulas na Guiné-Bissau

Abstract: In Guinea-Bissau, there is an ethnic and dynamic multiplicity where indigenous languages have been preserved and are still present in the daily life of the population. A language franca and means of communication, was born : the Creole; precisely because of this ethnic variety. Despite the dilemma of using an African or Portuguese language, Creole is a solution to this compromise between two realities. Thus, the use of this language has become very common in writing and in popular cultural events such as music. This work strives for elucidating the correlation between literature and language and also to corroborate the way in which music has served to disseminate the lives of women and to appeal to the meaning of the role and value of these.
