Scaffolding (Mumbai)

View through Harvard Museums
This rectalinear photograph depicts the a plaza filled with plastic chairs and covered tables in front of modern building draped in a woodened scaffolding. The scene is empty-- devoid of people, and appears to capture an early moment in the set up or take down of decorations and furniture for an event. The space is bathed in a warm, almost unatural sunlight, the color palette contrasts warm tones, the tan of the building and the pink of the sidewalk tiles, with intense greens and sickly blue.
