Abstract
The learning process encompasses a structured and well-defined set of tasks and activities, ranging from capturing and interrogating information to analyzing, making systematic corrections, recording, spreading, implementing, and executing the acquired knowledge. The ultimate goal of the learning process is to ensure that learnings from previous and ongoing projects can be effectively appli ed to current or future projects and team activities. By doing so, the organization aims to maintain a standard level of quality, enhance productivity, and increase overall value. Critical to the success of the learning process is the creation of an environment that fosters and su pports continuous learning.
Over the past few years, PDO has experienced rapid growth and emerged as an innovative and leading company in the Middle East. Its commitment to applying best practices has played a pivotal role in contributing to the economic and societal development of the Sultanate of Oman. As PDO continues to expand and evolve, it recognizes the paramount importance of continuous learning and knowledge sharing to enhance the performance and efficiency of its engineers. To achieve this, the PDO well engineering department has implemen ted a strategic approach that combines two key components: micro-learning and knowledge tech talks.
