1877-79 and completed over 200 paintings whilst there.In her
autobiography, 'Recollections of a happy life' of 1892, she
wrote,"There were some most extraordinary buffaloes, with
overhanging foreheads, which nearly hid their eyes, and low curling
horns. They were only to be found in Bhaunagar's stable, and were
kept for milking."
