La sostenibilità oggi è sempre più importante, in tutti gli aspetti della vita delle persone, delle industrie e delle comunità e diventerà sempre più una core activity a cui dedicare una parte rilevante dei budget aziendali e della Pubblica Amministrazione. Una parte molto importante, relativa alla tematica della sostenibilità, riguarda il corretto utilizzo dell’energia e il suo efficientamento, implementato attraverso l’adozione di una profonda filosofia energetica aziendale. Una delle figure che sta diventando parte integrante – anche all’interno dei consigli di amministrazione e delle varie giunte a livello comunale, regionale e nazionale – è quella del sustainability manager e in particolare dell’energy manager.
