Plan and section of the tholos tomb 4 at Koukounara
View through Europeana Collections
Plan and section of the tholos tomb 4 of Koukounara (Gouvalari 1). The tomb had a relatively short dromos, a large burial chamber, and it must have been full of luxurious grave goods, as we can deduce from the fact that it yielded a multitude of small items made of precious materials, although it had been looted in the past.
