The library is a place where children interact with books that offer different knowledge, entertainment and education, and that's why the role of libraries and librarians in the educational process and the creation of a cultural model of young generations is great. Together with parents, librarians are trying to find models and methods that would motivate young users to develop a reading culture, gather real information, knowledge and build their creativity. In order to animate children and young people and to attract them to spend part of their free time in the library, our librarians came to the idea of reading fairy tales during the summer. In order to make them animated, we decided to read the children's stories, illustrate them, analyze them and draw chalk on the plateau with interesting motives. A children's smiles, hugs and gratitude were indicators that we did the right thing. By reading fairy tales, we are promoting literacy, engaging the library, the municipality, the local community and developing a culture of reading the younger generation.
