60/40 BRASS CORROSION
View through CrossRef
Thiourea, allyl thiourea and phenyl thiourea have been used as corrosion inhibitors for copper and 63/37 brass in nitric acid. However, results obtained with one alloy can not be easily applied to another alloy. This article reports the use of thiourea, allyl thiourea and phenyl thiourea as corrosion inhibitors for 60/40 brass in nitric acid.
