بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
الحمد لله رب العالمين والصلاة والسلام على أشرف الأنبياء والمرسلين وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين
Alhamdulillah, all praise be to Allah SWT, Lord of the entire universe. Peace and blessings be upon the leader of all prophets and messengers, Prophet Muhammad SAW, his family, his companions, the tabi’in, and his entire ummah.
I am deeply grateful to the Almighty that the Syariah Judiciary Department of Negeri Sembilan (JKSNS) has, for the first time, successfully published an online journal titled “AL-TAQRIR: Jurnal Perundangan Syariah Negeri Sembilan” in collaboration with Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). This collaboration represents a formidable synergy of ideas between academic experts and Syariah judicial practitioners active in the field.
AL-TAQRIR presents the Grounds of Judgment from selected cases heard in the Negeri Sembilan Syariah Courts, alongside curated articles authored by Syariah Officers in Negeri Sembilan. The Grounds of Judgment constitute a vital element in trial proceedings, as they manifest transparency and judicial fairness. They serve as an indicator that the principles of justice remain paramount from the commencement of proceedings until the delivery of the verdict. Every issue raised must be reviewed and resolved thoroughly to ensure it remains aligned with the tenets of Hukum Syarak (Islamic Law) and statutory legislation.
Furthermore, the selected articles featured in AL-TAQRIR are rich with contemporary insights regarding the development of Syariah jurisprudence and offer constructive proposals for the enhancement of the Syariah legal system in Negeri Sembilan specifically, and Malaysia as a whole. It is therefore hoped that AL-TAQRIR will serve as a beneficial resource and a primary reference for Syariah legal practitioners and the general public throughout Malaysia.
I offer my heartiest congratulations and commendations to everyone involved in the successful production of AL-TAQRIR. May this modest effort be rewarded by Allah SWT and be counted as a form of amal jariah (everlasting charity) in His sight.
