Проанализирована нормативно-методическая документация, применяемая при испытании машин для уборки сахарной свеклы. Приведены данные о действующих и требующих переработки стандартах различного уровня, используемых при оценке свеклоуборочной техники. Представлены основные положения разрабатываемого проекта стандарта организации, устанавливающего современные требования к показателям назначения, надежности и условиям испытаний свеклоуборочных комбайнов, корнеуборочных и ботвоуборочных машин, свеклоподъемников, очистителей головок корней, машин и приспособлений для уборки корнеплодов маточной свеклы.
