White napkin with damask patterns in satin binding. Hand-woven. With scattered run-duded (bloom-like) stars in the center mirror and stretcher bounded through lines, even the one with the same stars. In one corner marked “EIH” in a chain oven with white and “12” in a cross stitch with red. Hand Filled.
Collected by Berta Kleberg. UM6145 and UM18856 are napkins with the same pattern. UM6145 woven in Uddevalla in the 1840s. This napkin is probably also woven in Uddevalla.
