BROSCH with a case. Of partly gilded, partly oxidised silver. Standing oval. Composed of a matt gilded disc with a slight convex outside, on whose midfield is relieved against finely transverse bottom. On the back needle and crawl. Stamped on the inner side of the sarga. Height: 3.2 cm, width: 2.8 cm. Etui: Of wood, rectangular, dressed with pressed Greek globe and lined with dark red velvet and red silk (atlas). On the front haspknot of brass. Height: 2.5 cm, length: 5.5 cm, width: 4.9 cm. Swedish work, Stockholm, from 1890. Eighty-four diurnal brooches prepared by the order of Wilhelmina von Hallwyl at the jeweler firm J.E. Torsk, 1891, each of the eighty-three girls from Ljusne who strewn flowers in front of King Oskar II on his visit. A brooch was later handed over in memory of the royal visit to be preserved for the collections.
