Artist: Reinecke vam Dressche. The goldsmith Reineke van dem Dresche was based in Minden. The author is mentioned here in 1462 and 1479. The choir shell is the only work that can be safely assigned to the Minden goldsmith. Donor: Albertus de Letelen. Albert von Leteln enrolled at the University of Cologne in 1436; Albert von Leteln was named an archideacon of Pattensen in 1451. Canon of the Minden Cathedral. In November 1485, Albert’s brother, Dethard von Leteln, is named his executor. Since the necrolog of St. Mauritii Monastery contains an entry that Albert von Leteln died on 19 September, the date of death is only that day in 1484 or 1485. The year 1487, which is stated on the choircoat closure, cannot therefore refer to the time of the foundation of the lock, but only to its transition into the possession of the cathedral.
