Normas ISO 14001, Versión ISO 14001:1996, ISO 14001:2004, ISO 14001:2015

La importancia de conseguir una certificación ISO radica en que les sirve a aquellas organizaciones que están interesadas en conseguir y demostrar una actuación medioambiental correcta. La certificación ISO 14001 en sistemas de gestión ambiental ya es bien conocida por todos los sectores de negocio en donde se busca la mejora continua en que una empresa controla y reduce su impacto en el medio ambiente. En el presente artículo científico se hace un análisis comparativo del cambio que han tenido las diferentes actualizaciones de la ISO, desde su inicio con la Norma 14004 de 1996, hasta la fecha, en la que rige la Norma ISO 14001 de 2015. De igual manera, se da a conocer la relevancia de otorgar la Norma en las empresas de Colombia.
