RESEARCH OF TERPENOIDS OF THE GENUS FERULA L. GROWING IN THE SOUTH OF KYRGYZSTAN
View through CrossRef
The article studies the composition of the plant terpenoids of the genus Ferula L. for the presence of organic acids, terpenoids, and heterocyclic compounds growing in southern Kyrgyzstan. For this, plant roots were used. As a result, of research, four organic acids were defined, differing in quantitative content and one new substance. The results obtained can later be used for the manufacture of drugs. Biologically active compounds contained in the plants of the genus Ferula L. exhibit various pharmacological activities: antioxidant, antileishmanial, anticonvulsant, antidiabetic, spasmolytic, hypotensive, antinociceptive, etc. Plants of this genus are promising cheeses for the development of new highly effective medicines with different pharmacological activities.
