The theme of violence in Chinese Postmodern literature (based on the works of Yu Hua and Zhang Yuezhan

В статье выявляется роль темы насилия в китайской постмодернистской литературе. Приводится история возникновения термина “постмодернизм”, его развития в Китае. Проводится подробный анализ ранних произведений писателей Юй Хуа и Чжан Юэжань — повести “1986 год”, рассказов “Один из видов реальности” и “Повествование о смерти”, повести “Красные туфельки”. Определяется, с какой целью авторы используют данный прием в каждом из произведений. Выявляются общие тенденции и особенности в подходе к изображению сцен жестокости авторов, а также различия в стилистике произведений. Исследуются различные аспекты насилия в произведениях, его последствия и воздействие на общество. Выявляется связь между изображением насилия и сложными социокультурными и политические аспектами современного китайского общества. Цель работы — определение роли темы насилия в творчестве китайских писателей-постмодернистов. Актуальность заключается в популярности явления постмодернизма в современной китайской литературе, а также неполной его изученности. Методы, которые были использованы в ходе работы — анализ, синтез, сравнение. Результат заключается в том, что изображение насилия является ключевым для отображения социально-политических процессов прошлого и настоящего, волнующих китайских авторов. The article reveals the role of the theme of violence in Chinese postmodernist literature. The history of the term “postmodernism” and its development in China is given. A detailed analysis of the early works of the writers Yu Hua and Zhang Yuezhan — “1986”, “One of the kinds of reality” and “Narrative of Death”, “Red Shoes” — is carried out. The authors determine the purpose for which the authors use this technique in each of the works. The general tendencies and peculiarities in the approach to the depiction of scenes of cruelty of the authors, as well as differences in the stylistics of the works are revealed. Different aspects of violence in the works, its consequences and impact on society are studied. The connection between the depiction of violence and the complex socio-cultural and political aspects of contemporary Chinese society is revealed. The aim of the paper is to determine the role of the theme of violence in the works of Chinese postmodern writers. The relevance lies in the popularity of the phenomenon of postmodernism in contemporary Chinese literature, as well as its incomplete study. The methods that were used in the course of the work are analysis, synthesis, comparison. The result is that the depiction of violence is the key to depicting the socio-political processes of the past and present, which are of concern to Chinese authors.
