Oil painting on canvas. Portrait of Countess Charlotte Piper

Portrait of Countess Charlotte Piper (1694? -1727, Elgenstierna tab.1), married in 1715 to the National Council, Count Ture Gabriel Bielke (1684-1763). Waist image, phase slightly v, set, pudered hair, diadem with pearl row, deeply ringed dress of white silk with ribbons and rosettes of pale orange silk, blue sheath. Yellow-brown background with small, blue field in the upper h.hörnet. The canvas is presented on a new tension frame, along the edges of the opening of the day, with a strip about 10 mm wide showing the canvas’s appearance before preservation. Copy for a copy a.t: “Charlotta Christina Piper born d: 169// giftt d.12 Mii 1715. Death: 16 Martii 1727.” New span frame of pine with a cross and arrows of red beech. Ornamental frame of gilded pine, b: 20 mm, flat outer edge strip and bowl to the inner edge, on the outside a bowl along the middle.
