Cytec Industries files patent violation lawsuit against Beijing Tiangang Auxiliary

In China, Solvay has submitted a patent infringement lawsuit in Beijing's intellectual property (IP) court against Beijing Tiangang Auxiliary. The suit was filed on behalf of the Belgian company's fully owned subsidiary Cytec Industries and its Polymer Additives business unit. It alleges that the production and selling of ‘Tiangang T-68 light stabilizer’ violates a patent covering Solvay's flagship UV stabilization product line, Cyasorb THT®. The violation has been verified by independent laboratory analysis, the company says.
