Dreesman (d. 2000) [3] sold [through Christie's Amsterdam April 2002 lot 556]. [Richard Green London circa 2002]. [Johnny van Haeften London 2004-2006] sold; to Peter and Anne Brooke 2006 by descent; to Samuel R. Brooke Peter W. Brooke and John F. Brooke 2020 gift; to Harvard Art Museums 2021 Notes [1] 1926 exhibition catalogue lists Dreesman as the owner and the 1945 publication "De Schilders van het Monochrome Banketje" lists Dreesman as the owner. [2] It is possible that the painting was sold through Mak Van Waay Amsterdam on May 1 1974 as lot 71. However we have not been able to confirm the work is this version. [3] Dr. Anton C. R. Dreesman is the grandson of Wilhelmus Josephus Rudolphus van Dreesman. Harvard Art Museums/Fogg Museum Gift of Samuel R. Brooke Peter W. Brooke and John F. Brooke in memory of Peter A.
