International Law Analysis of Ownership of Sovereignty of the Diaoyu Islands

The Diaoyu Islands have been an inherent part of China's territory since ancient times. This article , from a historical perspective, recounts China's sovereignty over and management of the Diaoyu Islands throughout various dynasties , and examines the main differences and frictions between China and Japan regarding the sovereignty of the Diaoyu Islands . In recent years, Japan's actions to covet sovereignty over the Diaoyu Islands have been continuous . Faced with the complexity and diversity of the Diaoyu Islands sovereignty issue, the Chinese government's position on sovereignty over the Diaoyu Islands has been increasingly strengthened, resolutely defending its sovereignty over the Diaoyu Islands and the integrity of the national territory. This article analyzes and demonstrates the limitations of resolving the Diaoyu Islands sovereignty issue based on international law , and looks forward to resolving the Diaoyu Islands sovereignty issue as soon as possible within the framework of international law using multiple methods .
