Nad literaturom o Brni Krnarutiću

Ako je tačno da određivanju mjesta što ga koji književnik zau- zima u koordinatama literature kojoj pripada mora nužno prethoditi niz objavljenih poslova, na primjer, da je tačno utvrđen kanon njego- vih djela, datum njihova postanka i prvih izdanja, da je uspostavljen i kritički izdan njegov autentičan tekst, da su djela omjercna o su- vremenu mu domaću i stranu književnost i o književnu tradiciju, ta- kođer domaću i stranu, i da su istraženi bar osnovni podaci o njegovu životu — onda moramo reći da za potpunije sagledavanje značenja što ga u povijesti hrvatske književnosti ima zadarski pjesnik XVI stol jeća Brne Krnarutić još mnogo treba uraditi. Ali i za neka pitanja koja se smatraju riješena ne bi se moglo kazati da su riješena do kraja, odnosno da su rješenja sasvim pouzdana.
