Abbot Werner von Hornbach confirms and renews the donations of his predecessors at the request of the provost Heinrich von Zell and the chapter there to improve the foundations of the monastery: on the one hand, that of the abbot Adalbert, who had carried the church in Harxheim (Harwisheim), the local tendrils and the mill at the village to the pen, and on the other hand that of the abbot Ernst, the customs for the kitchen and the wax for the church Werner himself transmits the church in Biedesheim (Busensheim) to the pen together with the local tendrils. He makes the following provisions regarding the occupation of the pastors: If the pastor’s office becomes vacant, the canons of Zell should propose a successor, to which the abbot of Hornbach may transfer the position. If they cannot agree, the abbot should appoint a clergyman as a pastor. This is to be preserved by the big tenth annually 15 malt grain, the small tenth with the tenth of the legumes, the yield of the church estate, and considered a real pastor. The rest of the big tithe falls to the cellar canon. However, they must establish a foundation for the preservation of the church and a foundation for the schoolmaster, which they are allowed to determine for themselves. In addition, Abbot Werner expressly states that only the Hornbach abbot has the right to appoint a provost or a canon in Zell Abbot.
